Jump Photography - Philippe Halsman

I remember reading about a Photographer who would photograph people jumping, with their jump representing their personality, but couldn't remember the name. After some searching, however, I found them! These are some examples of the work of Philippe Halsman - aren't they fun!

Jumping in the air and having a photo taken is something my family (strangely) have a habit of doing on a particular hill that we sometimes visit (it's also where we go kite-flying). As it's a nice location, I might use it for some shoots for my research project... Who can look at Photo of someone jumping and not smile? It's the closest we'll get to flying after all!
